Man walks off with $2,900 in stolen Fitbit watches from Fresh Meadows store: cops

Police are searching for a man caught on camera stealing hundreds of dollars in electronics from a Fresh Meadows department store.

On June 17 at around 2 p.m., an unidentified suspect entered the Kohl’s store on 188th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway and walked out with a total of 12 Fitbit watches, estimated at a value of $2,900, law enforcement sources said.

The incident was reported to the 107th Precinct via 911 approximately four hours later.

The photos of the suspect, described by authorities as a male, can be seen below.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
