The police are looking for a man who tried to rape a 21-year-old woman outside her Woodside home during the early hours Friday.
The incident took place at around 3:50 a.m. Aug 3 when a man approached her from behind in the vicinity of 55th Street and Queens Boulevard and grabbed her. The suspect grabbed her by the arms and pulled her toward him, police said.
The victim was able to break free and run away.
The suspect is described as white, bald, about 150 pounds, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt, white pants, a white T-shirt and black shoes.
