Permits have been filed for the construction of a 5-story, 14-unit apartment building to go up near the Quality Inn hotel in Woodside.
The development is slated to be built at 43-36 53rd St., where a single-family house is currently located, according to Dept. of Buildings filings.
The owner of the site, Jan How Kang, has yet to file for demolition permits. The house was bought in May 2014 for $1.15 million, city records show.
The development will go up across the street from the Quality Inn, located at 53-05 Queens Blvd. The Quality Inn has been used to shelter the homeless since 2016.
