Permits have been filed for a new six-story residential building with 10 apartment units in Astoria.
The building, which will be located at 25-28 30th Drive, will be 10,948 square feet and 75 feet tall. The property is currently occupied by a two-story brick residence that was constructed in 1954.
A residential lobby, recreational area and an apartment will be located on the building’s first floor. Tenants will also have access to a laundry room, a trash compactor room and tenant storage in the cellar.
Two apartments will be located on each level from floors two to five; a single apartment will be located on the sixth floor and extend into a penthouse.
T.F. Cusanelli and Filletti Architecture is responsible for the design. The property is owned by Sanford Petropoulos.
The property is three blocks from the 30th Avenue (N/W) subway station.
