CityMD will be opening a Sunnyside location next year on Greenpoint Avenue.

The urgent care provider will take up the the ground floor at 47-16 Greenpoint Ave., where the four-story building known as “Sunnyside Point” is being constructed.

CityMD said it does not have a specific opening date, but anticipates opening some time in the spring.

The developer, AB Capstone, is also expected to open the residential portion of the building in the spring.

CityMD centers provide services ranging from physical exams, vaccinations, pediatric care, lab tests, x-rays, and treatment for injuries and illnesses.

The centers provide walk-in hours at all times, and are typically open all seven days for up to 12 hours a day. The Sunnyside location, however, will open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

A CityMD spokesperson said the Greenpoint Avenue site’s hours will be standardized closer to opening day.

The Sunnyside location will occupy 3,000 square feet, and will be the 11th location to open in Queens.

In addition to CityMD, Neighborhood Radiology Services, a medical imaging center with multiple locations in New York City, will occupy the cellar and second floor, as well as part of the ground floor, of the building.

The two medical offices join several private practices, clinics, and medical centers in the Sunnyside-Woodside area.
