Police are looking for the suspects behind a drive-by shooting in St. Albans on Tuesday night that cost one man his life.
At 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 25, police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was shot in the vicinity of 118th Road and Farmers Boulevard.
Upon their arrival, officers from the 113th Precinct learned from witnesses that unknown individuals had fired several shots from inside of a gray four-door sedan before fleeing the scene southbound on Farmers Boulevard.
A 34-year-old man who had been standing near where the shooting occurred took a bullet to the torso, authorities said.
Before police had arrived at the scene, the victim was rushed by private means to Jamaica Hospital, where he later died. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
