Police identified Billy Forbes as the suspect wanted for questioning in connection with a grand larceny that took place on Halloween night, according to authorities.
A 22-year-old straphanger on the E-line of the Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue Subway station reported her wallet missing from her purse Oct. 31 at 7 p.m., according to police.
A preliminary investigation by the 103rd Precinct and the Transit Bureau determined that her card went missing as early as 3 p.m. that day and that the suspect tried to use the victim’s credit cards at an MTA MetroCard vending machine at the Sutphin Boulevard and Archer Avenue Subway station, according to authorities.
Police released photos and surveillance of the alleged suspect attempting to use the victim’s cards, according to the NYPD.
Forbes’ last known address was the Third Street Men’s Shelter – Project Renewal in Manhattan, police said.
Third Street is a nonprofit that helps more than 200 homeless tenants work toward maintaining their health and sobriety, and finding housing and jobs, according to its website.
Forbes, 33, was last seen wearing a backpack and dark clothing, according to authorities.
