A woman was beaten after boarding an E train at Queens Plaza last week when she asked a fellow rider to move his bag to allow her to sit, according to police.
The victim, 63, boarded the Manhattan-bound train at the station at around 9:15 a.m. on Nov. 4, where she asked the seated passenger to move his items to the side.
But the man refused, and then stood up to punch the woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, police say.
The 63-year-old had pain and swelling about her face, but was not seriously injured.
The attacker fled on foot when the train pulled into a station. The victim, meanwhile, refused medical attention at the scene.
The suspect, seen in a video released by police, is described as black, in his 20s, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a green hooded jacket and dark pants.
