Law enforcement sources said that the pattern started on Sept. 26. At 7:40 p.m. that day, two unknown men tried to pry open the rear sliding door at a residence in the vicinity of 54th Avenue and 252nd Street. However, they were unsuccessful and did not remove any property.

The pattern continued on Oct. 25. At 6:57 that evening, the suspects gained entry to a home in the vicinity of 33rd Avenue and 214th Place by forcing open a door in the rear of the home. However, the suspects fled the location without any property.

The next two incidents took place on Oct. 28. At 7:10 p.m., the crooks tried to gain entry to a home in the vicinity of 254th Street and Leeds Road by forcing open a door in the rear of the home, but they were unsuccessful and fled the scene with no property. Later that evening, at a residence in the vicinity of 77th Avenue and 220th Street, the suspects gained entry into the residence by forcing open a door in the rear of the home. However, the suspects fled the location without any property.

On Nov. 3, the suspects made two more attempts in burglarizing two homes, one in the vicinity of 33rd Avenue and 214th Place and the other in the vicinity of 6th Avenue and 147th Street, by trying to force open the rear door of the home. They were ultimately unsuccessful each time, and fled each location without any property.

The pattern continued on Nov. 8. Sometime between 9:30 a.m. on 7:20 p.m. that day, the suspects broke into a home in the vicinity of Powell’s Cove Boulevard and 152nd Street by forcing open a rear door. Once inside, the crooks stole $400,000 worth of cash and jewelry that belonged to the 60-year-old female homeowner.

Police say that between 2 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. on Nov. 10, the suspects gained entry to a home in the vicinity of 15th Road and 216th Street by forcing open a rear door. Once inside, the suspects took $17,000 worth of jewelry.
