Woman Loses Wallet at 40th Street Station, Hours Later Man Uses Her Credit Card: NYPD

The police are looking for a man who used a woman’s credit card shortly after the victim lost her wallet at the 40th Street train station last month.

Police said the suspect purchased items at a Zara clothing store at 500 Fifth Ave. in Manhattan at around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 23.

The victim, a 71-year-old woman, reported to police that she had lost her wallet that contained the card at the 40th Street station at about 1 p.m. that day.

The suspect bought $200 worth of merchandise at Zara and then used the victim’s card to buy $64 worth of items at Uniqlo, located at 41 West 34th St., at 9 p.m. that day.

The individual is described as white, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, a brown jacket and he had on a dark colored backpack.
