Veer Mailbox, a mail services and shipping center that has been in Sunnyside for 14 years, has moved into a new storefront near the intersection of 44th Street and 48th Avenue.
The owner, Sunil Shah, was forced to move after his previous landlord at 47-01 Greenpoint Ave. informed him that he had to vacate the premises as the building was being sold.

Veer Mailbox opened the doors to its new location at 44-03 48th Ave. on Friday, which formerly housed the Law Offices of Voicu & Nica P.C. The law office moved to Skillman Avenue in December.
Shah’s new storefront offers 180 mailboxes, and will retain all the printing, FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS shipping, and computer services that Veer Mailbox had previously offered, he said.
“We may have a new address, but we will still offer all the same services that our customers have depended on us for over a decade,” Shah said.
Shah said he notified his previous customers about the move, who greeted the news with a positive response.

Business hours at Veer Mailbox’s new location are:
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sundays: Closed
