A man was hit over the head with a brick in a fight that took place inside a Woodside store earlier this year, according to the NYPD, which said the suspect still at large.
The attack took place outside “Woodside Grocery” at 39-71 61st St. on Jan. 25, where the 49-year-old victim got into a dispute with the alleged assailant at around 11:45 p.m. before it escalated into a physical fight.
The attacker hit the 49-year-old with the brick—resulting in the victim sustaining a laceration and bleeding to the head—before he flees on foot.
EMS transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he received several stitches.
Police describe the suspect as black, in his late teens or early 20s, and last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a red and blue jacket.
