Police are searching for a man wanted for groping a young girl twice in separate incidents last month while aboard trains in Long Island City and Manhattan.
The first incident happened at around 7:15 a.m. on Feb. 12, when the man and 13-year-old victim were inside a Flushing-bound 7 train. According to police, the man touched her inner thigh as the train approached Queensboro Plaza.
Two weeks later on Feb. 26, the girl and unknown man were aboard a northbound 5 train at around 7:15 a.m. when he approached her as the train headed to the 86th Street station. He then touched her upper thigh before leaving the train at 149th Street – Grand Concourse.
The suspect is describe as having a light complexion, no more than 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds and partially bald.
