April 30, 2019 By Meghan Sackman
Police have arrested a Bronx man who allegedly raped a Flushing massage parlor employee on Saturday after asking her for a foot massage.
Terrell Green, a 21-year-old man who was living in a homeless shelter on Broadway in the Bronx, was arrested yesterday and charged with rape, robbery, two counts of burglary, and grand larceny.
Green allegedly pinned the 56-year-old parlor employee to a massage bed and raped her on April 27 around 2:30 p.m., according to police.
Green had been posing as a customer when he raped her at the parlor, which is located in the vicinity of Main Street and 37th Avenue in Flushing.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated and is in stable condition.
Green was arrested Monday at a Bronx residency at about 9 p.m. for the rape as well as a robbery that occurred at a different massage parlor at around 8 p.m. on Feb. 20, police say.
Green allegedly robbed a 50-year-old woman at that massage parlor, located at 39-06 Main St., while she was trying to close it for the night. Green allegedly kicked in the door and forcefully entered the location and stole the woman’s purse–as she fled–which contained $700 and credit cards.
Authorities found Green after receiving tips via Crimestoppers.
Green is expected to appear in Queens Criminal Court on May 10.
