A troublesome trio are wanted by police for assaulting and then robbing a 41-year-old woman on the border of LIC/Astoria last month, police announced today.
According to police, two women and man ambushed the victim from behind on April 22 at around 11:20 p.m. in the vicinity of 39 Avenue and 31 Street.
The suspects allegedly snuck up behind the victim, began to punch her in the head and body, and then pushed her to the ground. One of the suspects then removed the victim’s cellphone and all three fled in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the scene but the victim refused treatment.
The first individual is described by police as male, black, in his late teens or early twenties. He was last seen wearing a light colored cap, light jacket, light pants and dark shoes.
The second individual is described as female, black, and also in her late teens or early twenties. She was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
The third individual is described as female, black, and in her late teens or early twenties as well. She was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and pants.
