A woman was stabbed and robbed on Queens Boulevard outside of a KFC in the early hours of Sunday, police say.
The 41-year-old woman was walking on Queens Boulevard on May 12 around 2:55 a.m., across from the KFC located at 57-17 Queens Boulevard, when an unknown man approached her and demanded her property.
The man, according to police, punched the woman in the face, stabbed her in the left side of the abdomen, and then stole her Galaxy phone and about $100.
The woman was taken to Elmhurst hospital where she was treated and is likely to survive.
The man fled west on Queens Boulevard and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
