The second annual Father’s Day Classic Car Show will take place Sunday along Shore Boulevard.

The event, hosted by the Astoria Park Alliance, goes from 11 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. and is being held on Shore Boulevard given the location’s history of attracting car and motorcycle enthusiasts.

The boulevard will be closed to traffic and more than 100 cars built before 1990 will be on display.

In addition to car viewing, there will be food vendors, crafts for sale, live music and other family activities. Singer-songwriter D.B. Rielly will be performing at the event.

Food vendors will include The Breakfast Shack, King Souvlaki-Astoria, and Melt Bakery. Other vendors include Astor Apiaries, Hellgate Farm and Key & Arrow Leather.

The show is free to attend, but those who wish to display their cars must pay a $20 fee per car. Registration to enter cars into the show begins at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the corner of Ditmars Boulevard and Shore Boulevard.

Classic car owners will have their vehicles professionally judged in a variety of categories, with trophy presentations on stage to conclude the event.

People planning to attend the car show, sponsored by Old Astoria Neighborhood Association, are encouraged to RSVP on Facebook.
