July 9, 2019 By Shane O’Brien
The police are looking for a man who punched a subway rider in the face on a Manhattan-bound E train last month after the victim accidentally stood on his bag.
The suspect allegedly punched the 39-year-old victim in the face at around 6:05 a.m. on June 27 as the train was approaching Queens Plaza. The attacker was angered after the victim stepped on his bag.
The victim’s glasses were broken as a result of the punch, causing a laceration below his right eye. The victim left the train at the Queens Plaza station, while the suspect remained onboard.
The suspect is described as being black and about 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a yellow shirt and blue pants.
