An irate man punched a waitress in the face –knocking out two of her teeth– after being told that the Astoria restaurant where she worked had closed, according to police.

The suspect tried to enter Oven Grill Chill Lounge, located at 42-12 Broadway, at around 4: 15 a.m. on Friday, July 5, but was told by the 23-year-old waitress that the establishment had closed.

The suspect then argued with the victim and then punched her in the face, causing her to lose two teeth.

Police have released a photo of the suspect.
