Rendering of 21-59 44th Drive: Z Architecture

Renderings have been released of a development that is currently going up on 44th Drive.
The development, located at the former Shannon Pot site at 21-59 44th Dr., will be a six story, 20-unit building flush against the elevated train line.
The units will average about 740 square feet in size and there will be about 2,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 400 square foot community facility.
Renderings show a light-colored brick building that will feature private balconies on each floor.
The new development replaces a dated, one-story brick building that was on the 44th Drive/23rd Street corner lot. The site, located by the elevated tracks, had been the short-term home for the Shannon Pot until June 2018.
The Shannon Pot reopened at 10-50 44th Dr. in May.
