Suspect (NYPD)

An Astoria woman was groped by a stranger on the street and later woke up to him standing over her in bed, police said.
On July 27 just before 3 a.m., the man approached the 26-year-old victim in the vicinity of 24th Street and 23rd Avenue asking for help.
He said he was in a bike accident and injured, cops said. During the interaction, he touched the victim’s breasts and she fled to her home nearby, but it didn’t end there.
About an hour and a half later at 4:30 a.m., the woman woke up in her bedroom and found the same man standing over her, according to law enforcement sources. She screamed and the suspect jumped out of the bedroom’s second floor window.
No items were stolen or injuries were reported as a result of the incidents, police said.
The NYPD has released a police sketch of the individual in hopes of identifying the suspect, who they described as a male Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, weighing 180 pounds., 5 feet 8 inches tall with close-cut short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.
