Man Robbed of Cellphone at Knifepoint on 30th Avenue, NYPD Seeks Suspect

The NYPD is searching for a man in connection with a knife-point robbery in Astoria during the early hours Sunday morning.

At 12:40 a.m., on July 28, the suspect approached a 35-year-old man with a knife in front of 23-05 30th Ave.and demanded the victim’s cell phone.

The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s property.

The suspect is pictured having a beard and wearing a black T-shirt, dark colored shorts, and white shoes.
