Police are looking for a man who slashed a woman in the face with a scalpel outside a Woodside strip club on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred as the 27-year-old woman was entering Privileged Gentleman’s Club at 49-14 Queens Blvd. at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, according to police.
The woman was grabbed from behind by an unknown man outside the club and slashed across the face with a blade. The attack left the woman with facial lacerations and she was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in a stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction on Queens Boulevard.
This is not the first violent incident to take place outside the strip club.
In 2015, when the establishment was called Secrets, a man was shot dead following a dispute between club goers. In 2016, following a robbery, authorities shut the club down.
The police are seeking the public’s help in finding the man responsible for Wednesday’s incident.
