The police are looking for a man who smashed his way into an Astoria bagel shop during the early hours Saturday morning and took $5,000 cash.
The suspect allegedly broke the front glass window of Hot Bagel, located at 25-08 31st St., at about 3:25 a.m. and once inside swiped cash and an undetermined amount of cigarette packs. He then fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, shorts and sneakers.
