A new café is set to open next month in The Jackson, a 10-story building in Long Island City that was completed in 2017.
Beanstalk Café will open at 11-51 47th Ave. toward the end of December, according to owner Xoshao He. The café, he said, is independently owned and not part of a chain.
The café will serve breakfast and lunch in addition to coffee, according to He, and will offer a variety of premade and made-to-order meals.
The coffee shop will be able to seat 10 customers, He said.
He plans to open the coffee shop, which is situated within a few yards of the 21st Street-Van Alst ‘G’ subway station, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
