The real estate brokerage firm Modern Spaces will host a holiday event at a Long Island City condo building Sunday to welcome new owners and to showcase the development to the wider community.

The event on Sunday, Dec. 15, taking place at CORTE at 21-30 44th Dr., will run from noon through 2 p.m. and will feature hors d’oeuvres, desserts, Santa and business owners offering promotions. There will also be a wine tasting.

Modern Spaces aims to bring the existing condo owners together for a meet-and-greet, while providing the community with a glimpse of the remaining units for sale.

The eight-story, 85-unit structure is for the most part sold out. All the one-bedroom units are taken, with only two and three bedroom apartments available. Prices on those units range from $1.55 million and $1.975 million.

The building comes with many amenities such as a fitness center, residents lounge, kids playroom, common roof deck with an outdoor kitchen, storage for bicycles, a dog washing room, and private parking for sale.

The brokerage company is also organizing a “brews and stews” open house at 5 Court Square, an 11-story, 58-unit building, on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The event, which will go from noon to 2 p.m., will feature beers from local breweries Big Alice Brewery and soups / chilis / stews from a local caterer Little Chef Little Kitchen.
