A new C-Town Supermarket is opening its doors in Astoria next month.

The supermarket, which will be located at 31-18 24th Ave., has been under construction for about a year and is set to open in mid-February.

The full-service grocery store will span 6,500 square feet and will include the usual sections, such as fresh produce and dairy. The store will feature a deli, which will offer hot foods along with grab-and-go options.

The store is owned and operated by Noor Hamdan, along with his father and six brothers. The family already runs a second C-Town in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

Hamdan said the family was originally drawn to Astoria because of the neighborhood’s dedication to local businesses.

“Astoria is a great business district and an established community,” Hamdan said in a statement Tuesday. “We wanted to bring a brand new C-Town to be part of this diverse community to service this great neighborhood.”

Hamdan said the store will have a soft opening some time next month, offering deals and coupons for customers leading up to the opening. Neighborhood residents will also be sent coupons in the mail for a percentage off of their first visit.

No parking will be available for customers, but Hamdan said free delivery will be offered for any customer phone orders above $50.

The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
