A new affordable housing lottery has opened for a newly constructed building in Woodside.
Three one-bedroom apartments are up for grabs at 65-25 Roosevelt Ave. Each unit costs $1,800 a month to rent.
The units are available to households of one to three people who make a combined annual income between $61,715 and $124,930. A full breakdown of the income requirements is below.
The apartment building has a rooftop and split unit AC/heat. It is near the 7 and M subway lines, the LIRR and the Q53, Q70 and Q32 buses.
Tenants are responsible for paying electricity and gas bills, in addition to monthly rent.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 30, 2020.
While the units are given out to eligible applicants through a lottery, some preference is given to applicants with vision, mobility and hearing disabilities.
Those eligible can apply to the housing lottery online here.
