Two men robbed a McDonald’s in Sunnyside at gunpoint during the early hours Sunday morning, after climbing through the drive-through window and forcing a worker to hand over cash.

The suspects entered the drive-through in a black sedan at about 4 a.m. at the 38-02 Queens Blvd. McDonald’s. The pair then got out of the vehicle while a third individual remained behind the wheel.

The two gunmen climbed through the window, approached an employee and demanded cash from a safe. The men took $3,600, according to police.

The pair got back in the car and their getaway driver who was waiting for them drove east on Queens Boulevard, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the individuals is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
