A man is dead after he was struck by a 7 train at the 46th Street-Bliss Street station this morning, MTA officials and the police said.

The victim jumped in front of the Flushing-bound 7 train at around 9:37 a.m. as it pulled into the station, according to the police.

Emergency Medical Services pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

Power was turned off to allow first responders to the scene and services were suspended in both directions on the 7 line for about an hour, according to the MTA.
