Police Seek Man Wanted for Stealing Over $9,000 Cash From Key Food in Woodside

Police are looking for a man who burglarized a supermarket in Woodside last month and made off with over $9,000 in cash.

On March 18, at around 10:15 p.m., the suspect was inside Key Food, located at 61-10 Queens Blvd., when he forced open the manager’s office door using a screwdriver, police said.

The suspect rummaged his way through the office and stole $9,127 in cash, police said.

The thief then fled the scene thorough the loading dock at the back of the store, according to police.

Police have released photographs and video surveillance of the alleged burglar.
