Police from the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights are searching for two men in connection with a burglary in north Corona last week.
At around 12:30 on the morning of Aug. 25, one of the suspects entered a private residence in the vicinity of 99th Street and 39th Avenue through the rear door, according to the NYPD. Once inside, the intruder encountered the homeowner and fled empty-handed. The second suspect was acting as a lookout in front of the home, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the two men. One was wearing a dark T-shirt and dark pants with work boots and a light blue baseball cap. The other wore a gray long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a dark baseball cap.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
