Police from the 107th Precinct in Fresh Meadows are looking for at least two men who allegedly broke into a home and made off with personal property and thousands of dollars in cash earlier this month.

The suspects targeted a residence in the vicinity of the intersection of 194th Street and Union Turnpike near the northwest corner of Cunningham Park just before noon on Thursday, June 9, police said.

The alleged burglars forcibly entered the location by breaking a rear door and proceeded to remove handbags, jewelry, shoes, and approximately $3,500 in cash before running off in an unknown direction, according to the NYPD.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident and the NYPD released surveillance images of two of the suspects. One was wearing eyeglasses, a white baseball cap, a white long sleeve shirt, light-colored trousers and black gloves The second suspect was not wearing gloves but he wore a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a white surgical mask and a white long-sleeved dress shirt with dark pants and dark sneakers.
