Two men sought in beatdown of Jackson Heights resident as he entered his home: NYPD

A Jackson Heights man was attacked and robbed as he entered his apartment during the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 27, according to the NYPD.

Police from the 115th Precinct are looking for two men who followed the 43-year-old victim into his apartment at 95-05 35th Ave. just before 2 a.m. on Nov. 27 The assailants proceeded to throw him to the floor and punch and kick him multiple times in his head before forcibly removing his wallet and running from the location towards 94th Street, police said.

The victim refused medical attention at the crime scene.

The NYPD released a brief surveillance video of the perpetrators climbing the stairs behind the victim.

One of the suspects was seen wearing a dark hoodie under a black jacket and the other wore a gray hooded sweatshirt under a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, white sneakers and a blue facemask.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the two robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
