Police from the 108th and 115th precincts are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed 7-Eleven stores in Sunnyside and Jackson Heights last week.

The man struck first at around 3:14 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, when he entered the 7-Eleven at 42-02 Queens Blvd. and approached an employee at the counter.

The individual demanded cash from the register and simulated that he had a firearm in his waistband, police said. The perp took $200 in cash from the register and fled the store heading northbound on 43rd Street toward Sunnyside Gardens, according to authorities.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The same suspect struck three days later at the 7-Eleven location at 79-01 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights. The crook entered the store at around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, and approached the store employee at the counter.

He demanded cash from the register, stating that he had a gun, police said. He simulated that he had a firearm in his waistband and removed $420 from the register before fleeing the store northbound on 79th Street. There were no injuries reported.

The NYPD on Jan. 7 released surveillance images of the suspect and described him as having a medium complexion, and being between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall, with a slim build.

In both incidents, he was wearing a black face mask, a black bubble jacket with a hood and beige sneakers with black shoelaces.
