NYPD searches for two individuals in connection with beating in Jackson Heights

The NYPD is looking for two individuals connected to an assault on Sunday, Jan. 1, in front of 80-03 Roosevelt Ave. in Jackson Heights, where two men used a metal pipe to strike a victim multiple times in the head and body, according to police.

The male individuals fled the scene on foot after the verbal dispute and beating. The victim, a 22-year-old male, sustained a laceration in the head and was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, according to NYPD.

The individuals are described as two males approximately 18 to 28 years of age with light complexions and medium builds.
