The NYPD is looking for a crook who burglarized homes two Queens homes over the course of a couple of hours.
Police say that at 2:45 p.m. on April 19, the suspect approached a residence located in the vicinity of Seward Avenue and 234th Street in Queens Village, within the confines of the 105th Precinct. After knocking on the front door, the suspect walked to the home’s side door and forced his way inside. The thief took an undetermined amount of money from the home before fleeing the scene eastbound on Seward Avenue.
At 5 p.m. that same day, the suspect approached a home located in the vicinity of 156th Street and Kalmia Avenue in Flushing, within the confines of the 109th Precinct. After ringing the bell and knocking on the door, the crook walked to the back of the residence where he tried to enter the home.
The suspect was interrupted by the victim inside and was unable to gain entry. The suspect then fled the scene through backyards.
The NYPD released photos of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark pants, black and white shoes, a blue hat, and a black bag.
