End of the Line Comedy Show & Open Mic
Come and see a line-up of comedians curated for an entertaining night. In addition to enjoying the show, attendees will also have the chance to showcase their own comedic skills with available slots for on-the-spot open mic sessions. Sky Village NYC is calling all young artists between the ages 5 and 8 to explore their artistic self-expression, under the supervision of an experienced painter, printmaker and graduate of Pratt Institute, Frankie Bartolomie. This experience nurtures creativity, self-expression and personal growth, fostering confidence in your child’s unique artistic abilities. Saturday, Oct. 21
Decadia, a band of singers from diverse backgrounds in the music industry and veteran musicians, is scheduled to perform at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center. Sponsored by Council Member Vickie Paladino, their performance will feature hits from the ’80s with some additional songs from the ’70s and ’90s. Council Member Nantasha Williams invites the community to a lively Family Fun Day, celebrating the fall season. Come and enjoy live music by DJ Netty Net, games, face painting, pumpkin picking, a costume contest, food and giveaways. Explore Bolivia’s long cultural heritage, featuring indigenous languages, Mestizo Baroque art and vibrant traditions showcased at the Queens Bolivian Parade. (37th Avenue, 69th Street to 89th Street, between 37th Avenue and 35th Avenue, Jackson Heights. Noon to 3 p.m. Admission: $Free)
Join Kakes NYC for a one-night special high comedy jam produced by It’s Really Them Entertainment that will feature music by DJ K-Dwang and DJ EZ PASS and comedians hosted by MrCommodre, such as Smokey Juarez, Ruperto Vanderpool, and other local entertainers.
