Police from the 105th Precinct in Queens Village are looking for four armed robbers who attacked a 34-year-old man in Cambria Heights before stealing property from his vehicle on the night of Monday, Aug. 5.
At around 10 p.m., the victim parked in front of 231-07 Linden Blvd. and got out of his vehicle and got jumped by four strangers, who stabbed him multiple times, discharged a firearm and removed personal items from his vehicle, including several plastic bins. An NYPD spokeswoman could not say what was in the stolen containers. The perpetrators fled the crime scene in three different vehicles, traveling northbound on 231st Street toward the Cross Island Parkway. The victim drove to the Franklin Medical Center in Brooklyn in stable condition, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the four suspects and their getaway vehicles, including a white sedan, a white van with a light-blue stripe along its side and a red sedan.
The NYPD described the first suspect as having a dark complexion with a slim build and wearing a black polo shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. The second assailant is described as having a dark complexion and a slim build who wore a dark blue New York Yankees baseball cap, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants and gray and white sneakers. The third attacker is described as having a dark complexion and a medium build who wore a white durag, a black t-shirt, black shorts and gray and white sneakers. The fourth suspect is described as having a dark complexion with a medium build and wore a black pullover face mask, a black t-shirt, gray shorts and multi-colored sneakers.

Through Aug. 11, the 105th Precinct has reported 83 robberies so far in 2024, 20 fewer than the 103 robberies reported at the same point last year, a decline of 19.4%, according to the most recent CompStat report. Assaults are down slightly in the precinct with 273 reported so far this year, three fewer than the 276 reported at the same point in 2023, a decrease of 1.1%, according to CompStat.
