Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are still looking for two gunmen more than three weeks after a drive-by shooting in Douglaston left two men wounded.

The incident went down on the night of Saturday, Oct. 5, with the two victims sitting in a car at the northeast corner of Douglaston Parkway at the Long Island Expressway.

At around 11 p.m., a white sedan pulled up alongside, and the two men inside opened fire, shooting 20 rounds at the parked car in an unprovoked attack, police said on Monday.

The victims, a 56-year-old and a 43-year-old man did not suffer any gunshot wounds but sustained injuries caused by glass shards from the shattered vehicle windows, according to the NYPD. The perpetrators sped away in the white sedan.

EMS responded to the crime scene and rushed the two victims to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, where they were both listed in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the white sedan on Monday. A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to their arrest.

Anyone with information regarding this assault investigation is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org or on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) @NYPDTips.
