As the New York Mets look to clinch a trip to the National League Division Series Wednesday night in Milwaukee, the team announced that beginning as early as Thursday, Oct. 3, Citi Field will be hosting watch parties of select away games during the playoffs.

Mets fans can get together and cheer on their team at the stadium as they watch the game on Citi Vision, the largest scoreboard among Major League Baseball ballparks.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase at mets.com/watchparty for a $10 donation each to the Amazin’ Mets Foundation. There is a limit of eight tickets per person for this event. Tickets come on a first-come, first-served basis.

Attendees will enjoy free parking, $5 concessions and special appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Met.

“There’s nothing better than October Baseball,” Mets President of Business Operations M. Scott Havens said. “Our fans have supported us at every turn of this memorable season, and we couldn’t think of a better way to cheer on the team than to watch at Citi Field together, if needed, while supporting the Amazin’ Foundation. We know our fans and their energy are what make Citi Field a special place to watch baseball games and we wanted to give them the opportunity to join us as we make our push in advancing this postseason.”

The first game for the event will be Game 3 of the Wild Card Series on Thursday night after the Milwaukee Brewers forced the winner-take-all showdown with a 5-3 win in Game 2. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 pm ET where the winner will advance to the NLDS to face the Philadelphia Phillies.

For finalized game information, follow the Mets on social media and check your email. The event is subject to cancellation at the sole discretion of Citi Field. In the event this does occur, those who bought tickets will be notified via email. If a watch party does not take place, all donations will be automatically refunded within seven business days to the same payment method that was used to buy the tickets.
