A new rendering has been revealed for 93-47 Sutphin Blvd., a proposed 27-story hotel in Jamaica.

Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by Able Management Group, the $54 million project will feature 225 guest rooms under the Hilton Garden Inn brand. The property is owned by Station Plaza Hotel LLC and sits at the intersection of Sutphin Boulevard, 94th Avenue, and the Jamaica rail lines serving the Long Island Rail Road.

The latest design, displayed on the construction site’s board, highlights the tower’s glass curtain wall framed by white mullions on the western elevation and white paneling on the southern profile. The structure will include a three-story podium with double-height floors, followed by a setback before the main tower ascends uniformly. A band of continuous windows at the midpoint and a flat parapet with a partial canopy complete the design.

Planned hotel amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, lobby restaurant and bar, and a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace.

The site was previously home to a series of low-rise commercial buildings that had been largely vacant in recent years. The area around the property is a bustling transportation hub, anchored by the nearby Jamaica station, which connects to the Long Island Rail Road, the AirTrain to JFK Airport, and several subway lines.

The site’s history includes a 2015 purchase by Able Management Group from the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, which resolved legal disputes and finalized a deal with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, previously owning a portion of the land.

Construction timelines remain uncertain, but an anticipated completion date is listed as September 2026.
