A St. Albans man was arrested by detectives from the NYPD’s Queens Special Victims Unit for groping three teenage girls and a woman in a 20-minute spree in Southeast Queens last month.

Travis Henry, 28, of 168th Street was booked at the 113th Precinct in Jamaica on Jan. 7. Henry was arraigned two days later in Queens Criminal Court on a 27-count complaint charging him with stalking, public lewdness, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and other related crimes.

According to the criminal complaint, on the morning of Monday, Dec. 16, Henry allegedly targeted his first victim, a 16-year-old girl, as she was walking near 115th Avenue and 170th Street, just a block south of Archie Spigner Park. At approximately 8:20 a.m., Henry approached her from behind, grabbed her rear end, and walked away but approached her again moments later and tried to pull down her pants, causing the youngster to scream. Henry stated, “Shut up, or I’ll kill you,” according to the complaint.

Henry struck again about a few minutes later, six blocks to the west, where another 16-year-old was walking past the Police Athletic League Edward Byrne Center at 116-25 Guy R. Brewer Blvd. Henry came up behind her, grabbed her buttocks and walked to a nearby deli.

Henry re-emerged five minutes later near 111th Street and 167th Street in St. Albans, where a 28-year-old woman was walking with her 8-year-old son. The defendant came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks before running off toward Archie Spigner Park.

SUV detectives collected still photos from video surveillance at each of the locations and the mother who was groped in front of her 8-year-old son last month identified Henry as the suspect in the photos. Henry’s own mother also reviewed the same photos and confirmed that the male depicted in the photos is her son, the defendant, Travis Henry.

At his Jan. 9 arraignment, Henry was also charged in a separate case for an incident that occurred nearly a month before his forcible touching spree on Dec. 16.

Detectives from the 113th Precinct determined that Henry was the suspect they were looking for in another troubling incident outside a 16-year-old girl’s home, whose address was redacted from the criminal complaint to protect her privacy. The home is within the confines of the 113th Precinct.

Between 4:30 and 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, Henry stood in the driveway with his penis exposed, asking her to approach him, causing her “annoyance and alarm,” according to the criminal complaint. An eyewitness was shown photos taken from video surveillance at the girl’s home, and it was confirmed to be the defendant, Travis Henry.

He was charged with public lewdness and harassment in the second degree. Bail was set in the first case at $15,000 cash and $15,000 bond in the first case, and bail was set at $1 cash in the second case. Henry is due back in court on Feb. 20.
