The month of June offers an exciting lineup of events at Flushing Town Hall with its full slate of concerts, exhibitions and performances, highlighting the borough’s cultural richness and artistic diversity.
Located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. in Flushing, the historic venue will feature programming tied to Queens Rising, Pride Month and Juneteenth, along with its signature jazz offerings.

Exhibition: “The Truth as I See It”
June 5 – Aug. 3
Opening reception: Saturday, June 14, 5–7 p.m.
A new visual art exhibition, “The Truth as I See It,” will open on Wednesday, June 5. The free show features local artists exploring identity, historical narratives, and cultural memory through storytelling and speculative narration. Timed with both Juneteenth and Pride Month, the group exhibition seeks to fill historical gaps and elevate underrepresented voices. An opening reception will be held on June 14.

Queens Rising: Queens Scene Performance Series
Friday, June 6, 7 p.m.
As part of the Queens Rising initiative, Flushing Town Hall will host the Queens Scene concert series featuring a lineup of local artists and performers. The event celebrates the creative diversity of Queens, widely regarded as the world’s most diverse borough.

Queens World Film Festival Presents: “Acceptance”
Saturday, June 7, 7 p.m.
The Queens World Film Festival returns to Flushing Town Hall with Acceptance: Four Films About the Courage It Takes to Just Be Ourselves. The screening will showcase four LGBTQ-themed short films followed by a filmmaker Q&A and post-screening reception.
The event is free with RSVP, and a $5 donation is suggested.
Antonio Hart Quintet Featuring Powerhouse Vocalist Antoinette Montague

Antonio Hart will lead his top-tier ensemble through a repertoire that honors jazz tradition while pushing creative boundaries. Known for his robust and lyrical tone, Hart’s playing captures the spirit of jazz with every note. His quintet features Barry Cooper on trombone, Nasheet Waits on drums, Donald Vega on piano, and Alex Ayala on bass. Joining Hart is the captivating Antoinette Montague, whose voice channels the soul of jazz, blues, and gospel with elegance and fire.
Tickets are $48 for general admission, $42 for seniors and students with valid ID, and $150 for a premium table for two. Members of Flushing Town Hall can enjoy a pre-show gathering with refreshments and staff meet-and-greet in the garden or gallery.
