Jane’s Gifts, the general merchandise store, will be shutting down shop on Greenpoint Avenue in the coming weeks.
The small shop, located at 45-16 Greenpoint Ave., will remain open until the end of June, according to Eun Sook Lee, who owns the store with his wife Keun Sang Lee.
Signs along the shop point to slashed prices on its many items, including toys, hand bags, stationery, and luggage accessories.
The general retail shop opened about three decades ago in Sunnyside, Lee said.
Lee declined to expand on the reason’s for the shop’s closing.
News of the locale’s fate comes after Bing’s Gifts, across the street from Jane’s Gifts, closed in January after a seven-year run.
