Children home during armed break-in in 104th: Police

Three men allegedly swiped jewelry and cash from a home on 79th Avenue, officials from the 104th Precinct said.

Two suspects armed with a gun allegedly entered the residence at about 11 a.m. and robbed the home, police said. The house had been unlocked and there were two children, ages 12 and 5, inside, cops said. Neither child was hurt, according to authorities.

Police said there was a third man involved in the burglary, but he did not go into the home.

One suspect is described as a 50-year-old Hispanic man, who was wearing a black hat and green shirt, and the second suspect is a 30-year-old Hispanic man dressed in a red hat, red shirt and blue jeans, police said, The third suspect is described as a 30-year-old Hispanic man, wearing a black shirt and black boots, according to cops.
