Motorcyclist dies after crashing into a car at a Hollis intersection

Police are still investigating a crash in Hollis on Sunday evening that left a motorcyclist dead.

According to police, at 6:32 p.m. on June 24, police responded to a 911 call regarding a vehicle collision at the intersection of 203rd Street and 104th Avenue.

A preliminary investigation found that a 40-year-old man was driving southbound on 203rd Street at 104th Avenue in a 2012 Hyundai Accent when the vehicle was struck by a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle operated by Shawn Little, 45, who was traveling eastbound.

EMS responded to the scene and transported Little to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Hyundai remained on scene after the incident.

The NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is still looking into the case.
