MovieWorld, located in the Douglaston Plaza Shopping center at 242-02 61st Ave., will be showing their last pictures on July 2, according to general manager Russell Levinson. But before MovieWorld closes its doors for good, they plan on going out in style!

On July 2, all prices will be retro to 1983, the year they opened their doors. Movies will be $2.50, and concession items will be around $1.00.

From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the theater will also have a DJ to celebrate the customers they have been able to serve for the past 35 years.

They will be screening all time favorite movies including Incredibles 2, Jurassic World 2 and My 2 Mommies.

Tickets can be purchased in advance starting on June 29 at their box office. Tickets can also be purchased on websites such as Fandango for the same price.
