Police are investigating the death of a man who was found in a truck in Long Island City on Wednesday morning.

According to authorities, at 8 a.m. on Oct. 31, officers from the 114th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious man inside a vehicle at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 42nd Street. Upon their arrival, police found a 65-year-old man inside a 2016 Dodge truck, unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS responded to the location and declared the victim dead at the scene. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending proper family notification.

Police sources indicate that there were no obvious signs of trauma or criminality, and that the death may have been a suicide. However, the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
