The police released video footage of three men today wanted for a string of robberies and assaults that have taken place in Sunnyside this month.
Suspect (NYPD)
The first attack took place at around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, when the men sprayed ‘silly string’ in the face of a 62-year-old man in front of 40-15 Queens Blvd.(Burger King), before striking him multiple times in the head and back with a belt. The victim was bruised but refused medical attention, police said.
The following Monday, March 11, one of the suspects sucker-punched a 34-year-old man on the corner of Greenpoint and 48th Avenues at around 11:20 p.m. The men then kicked the victim while he was on the ground and took $600, an iPhone X and Apple earpods before fleeing. The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was treated for bruises to his head and body.
Days later, Saturday, March 16, the trio were seen spray painting parked vehicles on the corner of 39th Avenue and 46th Street at around 2 a.m. When the men were questioned by a 21-year-old observer, they punched the victim in the face causing lacerations and brusies. No serious injuries were sustained.

The group, according to police, then robbed a 45-year-old man at knife point who was walking to work on Monday, March 18, at around 1:20 a.m. by 34-00 Review Ave. The victim was slashed and stabbed by the suspects, while they took his cell phone, wallet and backpack. He was taken to
Elmhurst Hospital and is in serious but stable condition with multiple lacerations to his head and back.
The three suspects are black and in their 20s. One of the men was seen to have long braids, white jacket and blue jeans.
